01What changes in Melbourne
Victoria’s Building and Plumbing Commission says plumbing practitioners must be licensed or registered for the relevant class of work. Only a licensed plumber can issue a compliance certificate, and the Commission lists circumstances where a certificate is required, including work over the current value threshold and specified gas, drainage and other work regardless of value. The customer guidance also recommends checking the practitioner’s ID and eligible classes.
Melbourne campaigns should therefore display only genuine credentials and describe certificates in the services where they apply, not use a vague “fully certified” badge. Service coverage across Werribee, Craigieburn, Dandenong and Ringwood should be based on real rosters; splitting east, north and west can make urgent availability and planned quote scheduling more accurate.
